Remarks

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is a good course and its eligibility is JEE MAINS/ WBJEE rank, Science stream in 12th. You can do it on the online website or you can come to college to get admission. There is as such nothing required I think because the admission process is pretty good. Because of these pandemic situations, online admissions are also available so that everyone eligible can get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech in Computer Science is a very future proof course for getting a job in the IT companies and I liked the course from the very beginning, that's why I chose the course. There are very good faculties present in the college (About 10-12 faculties in every Department) and the number of students is about 60-70 every department in every year. Every faculty are M.Tech qualified and some of them are Doctorates. Their teaching quality is very good, they explain the topic very simply so that everyone can understand the topic. There are 4 internal theory exams and 2 lab exams in each semester. If everyone classes regularly then they can easily pass the examination.

The companies were TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Microsoft and the roles were IT developer, database manager, website designer etc. The projects were of designing any bank's website or bank's database managing to maintain the banking system and such like that.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year, students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Microsoft are the companies that visited the college and they made about 250 offers. The highest package given was 28000/month and the average was 20000/month. 80% of students got placements from this college. My plan is to join a company after getting the degree to gain experience and then I will do M.Tech to gain more knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are pretty good and also affordable for the course. It's 30000/semester and at the time of admission, the college takes 20000 for admission fees. Every student who scores 75% in a year, gets a scholarship for this. In the 3rd year and 4th year, many students get jobs from college campuses.

Campus Life

There happens both Annual fest and Tech Fest. Tech fest takes place in August and Annual Fest takes place in April. The library stock is very good. In each semester, students get books for their semester subjects. The classrooms are very good, clean and healthy and there are no issues of suffocation or such like that. Annual sports happens every year in January/February. Also, there happens many cultural programs, blood donation camps, tree plantation programs etc. where students participate and for this, they get certificates also.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.

Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement
