Remarks

Eligibility: Only need to clear the cut-off, based on your class 12th percentage. The trend is generally to release 3 cut-offs (starting at 93+ for general and ending at 89). The application form can only be availed by visiting the college, in person. Reservation benefits are seen in the lower cut-offs, available online.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Electronics(H) open plenty of options including Data Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductors and many more. The college has NIRF ranking under 20, a 1:2 faculty ratio and excellent course coverage with experienced professors so it is better than many low tier BTech colleges offering Electronics courses. The professors are well qualified, holding Master's degrees (and pursuing PHD) to PhD. Most of them have teaching experience of 10+ years.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like TCS hire IT employees or coders. Start-ups offer Management roles(like HR, Marketing and advertising) along with app/ website designers. Some food sector companies, like Zomato, Burger Singh etc, offer HR Roles, Sales jobs etc. The project tasks are to be performed under the head allotted to you and usually have weekly deadlines, with daily report submissions, especially if you're in sales. Sales jobs offer incentives too, based on your performance.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. The placement cell is very active. Many companies, including TCS, HCL, Zomato etc. The only downside is that the salary offered is in the range of 3.5-5 lacs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

ANDC is fully funded by the Delhi Govt. So, the fee is under 9000 for this course. There are many scholarships(Tina Gupta, Merit Scholarship etc.) that will give you a full fees waiver! Interested students can apply for internships, details of which they received via mail.

Campus Life

5

The campus is super small, we live like a family because of that. Student intake is low, and the clubs are always active. Dhwani and Dhun (cultural clubs) are known across the DU for winning competitions. The literary club and SPIE chapter are a pride for our campus. SPIE society chapter at ANDC is one of the few chapters available in India, the same as the SPIE chapter at IITs! The annual fest takes place around February and Tech fests are always happening. We have a beautiful library, which has books of any and every kind! The canteen is excellent too, offering South Indian and North Indian food, along with the Confectionery shop!

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
