Remarks
The criteria for MBA admission at GU is a valid CAT score. After applying we are shortlisted on the basis of this CAT score. After this we also had an interview session. The admission procedure was very simple; all the instructions are available on the website. The registration fee was 1500 rupees.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA is a two year course and there are four semesters. We had electives and specializations in the second year. The course aims at shaping bright professionals in the field of business administrations. In the second year we had an internship as part of the course. And this helped us get enough exposure in the practical areas of business.
Placement Experience
It is the placement cell that works out the placement opportunities for us. We can start participating in the recruitment starting semester three. Companies like Infosys, Deloitte and HCL are major recruiters. Highest CTC is 12 LPA and the average CTC is 6 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course fee is 4 lakhs, including the hostel and mess fee. GU does offer some scholarships for students with outstanding academic records. Other than that, there are no scholarship/ financial aids given.
Campus Life
We had sports and cultural teams. And these teams represented our university in many competitions. Our university encouraged participating in inter college fests and competitions. Our infrastructures are also very modern. All facilities like library, gym, hostels and mess are well maintained.
