Remarks

Eligibility is you have to get 60% in PCM and you can find application forms, fees details on the VIT website. Basically, there are 4 categories of fees for each department, which depends on your VITEEE rank. The higher the Rank you get, the lower the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

VIT follows a system called FFCS which allows you to choose your subject and Prof you want to study under on your own. It has both pros and cons which you will face. Mostly every faculty will hold a PhD degree. You will have a term exam every 1 -1.5 months and a final exam after each semester. (2 Term exam) and there is no such passing factor for term exams. You have to pass in Final exam (40/100) alone to get a pass in that subject.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester. Only circuital branches will get tons of opportunities as companies want them in more numbers. Though VIT helps for Non- circuital branches too, only toppers get through them not all average students get through them. VIT and the outside world will give you tons of placement opportunities for CS, ECE, IT guys not for mech/civil/production/bio-tech or any non-circuital.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships for middle-class people and high-class people, you have to clear an exam to get financial assistance. I had two offers - 1 sales role(but they told me it is a core job) and a decent IT job with a good salary. If you want to choose VIT please get into Circuital branches if you aim for good placements and have lazy behavior. Circuital branches will automatically get you a job.

Campus Life

Tech fest -Gravitas, Annual fest - Rivera. Everything you want is available in the library. The classrooms are good. Every sport and extra curricular is available. There are infinite groups and clubs in VIT Ex: SEDS VIT, Pravega.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
