Remarks

This is a pretty descent college but considering the ROI there are pretty good universities in chennai.

Entrance Preview

I took the HITSEEE exam i scored 60 marks out of 100, i desperately wanted to go to a private university out of all private universities in chennai, hindustan university was better.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum is similar the anna university and all anna university affliated colleges curriculum but here, there's bit practical stuff which includes small projects in even semester the practicals are give equal weigtage with the theory.

Internships Opportunities

There are no companies coming for internship here if u want to do internship, you have to look for it outside there are chances that, the faculty over here could refer you to the companies, they know.

Placement Experience

2.5

Most students get placed in IT companies, whichever branch they belong, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, TCS were the main IT giants coming here and offering packages of 3.5L per annum one or two core companies comes and recruit a few students.

College Events

4

There are no culturals in this college there are no inter department meets but department symposiums are conducted in a descent manner there is a annual sports meet conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is pretty expensivethe fee ranges from 1,47,000, 1,72,000 for the mechanical engineering course if you are a NRI then there is a seperate fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided for the top 100 rankers in the HITSEEE exam scholarship is also provided for students getting above 90% in their respective state boards there are sports scholarships for students who are meriterious in sports and games.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is pretty chilled out the girl boy ratio is pretty descent in computer science department, other department has very less girls compared to boys ragging is strictly prohibited.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel here is pretty descent there are different room accomadation types the mess food is not bad and you can get non veg daily the vegetarian food is pretty good.

Alumni/Alumna

If you take up your work seriously here, you can reach great heights this is what the seniors had advised me there are various ongoing projects going on in the areonautical and the automobile department.

Exam Structure

The exams whether it is theory or practical are very chilled out they are not pretty tough nor easy they are not conducted in a hectic manner.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty here are pretty descent, a few faculty here know their stuff really well the lab attenders do their job pretty well the head of the department of mechanical engineering is the best.

Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
