Remarks

-All the eligibility to the courses are done through the SRMJEE exam -we can find the application form and the details such as the application fee and exam pattern from the official website itself www srmist.edu.in -no reservation as it is a private institution but sports quota to only Tamil Nadu students -no need for improvements

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

-I have chosen EEE as I am very much interested in the machines and electrical stuff -the faculty for student ratio is up to the mark -experienced faculty with lots of years of experience and they give the support to enhance you -exams were conducted on regular basis and it's isn't tough to get a pass

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't know more about the internships But there are good internship opportunities provided by the University which I was told by my seniors There are very quiet varieties of opportunities you will be getting throughout your course time

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements There will be around 600 companies visiting every year and many of them will be IT companies The highest package is around 52 lakhs and the average is 3.5 lakhs There will be a good percentage of placements You need to take care of the academics and concentrate on building your profile My plan is to get a good core job

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be a constant fee for the four years of your course which they will mention in the provisional allotment letter after the successful counseling As it is a private institution I don't think they will provide any scholarships

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is MILAN. It is one of the greatest on campus fest The tech fest is AARUSH. it is a place where you can showcase your technical talent The library is the best I have ever seen with various range of collections The classrooms are pretty decent and the labs are amazing You can get a wide range of sports options and you can even practice for the tournaments There are many groups that are run by students like team Rudra, team Etrossoleron, and many more

Hostel Facilities

There will be a cot, cupboard, table, Chair with fans and lights Based on the type of hostel you choose, type you will be charged I can say that it has the best menu and the quality is very good. even I didn't expect that it will be that great. All your money for the mess will be accounted for with good dishes You can book the hostel online given by the University

Hostel Fee: INR 130000 per year

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
