Remarks

The culture here in VIT is highly underrated. You can see a great diversified culture in VIT which lets you get accustomed easily. The library here is a special attraction to anyone who comes from small cities and towns. The restaurants outside the campus

Entrance Preview

We have to write VITEEE as an entrance examination. The score of this examination will not be disclosed only the rank will be published. 9062 was my rank. I have opted for this college as it was the best option I have.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

FFCS is the curriculum style that is opted from foreign universities. FFCS means Fully Flexible Credit System which gives power to the student to opt for a faculty and slot of his choice. This lets you make your timetable friendly to your routine and also the course selection is of your choice.

Internships Opportunities

I have done my Internship at Stayzilla (Inasra Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) which gave me a greater view of working style in corporate culture. This experience taught me a lot of things.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are not a thing to worry about in VIT. VIT almost guarantees a 100% placement (arrear students are excepted). A lot of MNC's visit our campus. Some of them are Amazon, Visa, WellsFargo, Delloite, Akamai, SAP, RBS, Groupon. The packages range from 3 LPA to 20 LPA. On average, you can say it is around 5-6 LPA per student.

College Events

4.5

Riviera and graVITas are two huge events celebrated on our campus. Riviera is often listed as the best university cultural fest in India. We almost see a footfall of 35000 for this great fest and celebrities like the SEL gang, Shreya Ghoshal, Sivamani can be seen in the Pro Shows of this fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

To talk from a common man's perspective the fee is expensive but when you compare it with other private universities of this level it is lower than par. For the facilities you get here the fee you pay may not be too high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship scheme is only applicable to the local students who are toppers of their district. VIT does offer scholarships from different organizations for people who are economically backward.

Campus Life

4.5

The extracurricular activities and clubs are great here. One can enjoy their campus life at the best if they move socially with everyone. We can see a diversified culture which gives you a feel of a metropolitan city.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are way too great when I compare them with the facilities provided by other universities. Food is offered in 5 different cuisines. But the quality of food is not so great which is a thing to worry about.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is good. Seniors are guides for any student. Interaction with seniors of your stream will let you earn a lot of knowledge on how to choose your path in your career and how to design it.

Exam Structure

The exams are divided into two internal assessments and a Final assessment. The internal assessment component also includes 3 quizzes and an assignment/project. The labs also share a similar exam structure.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculties here are Ph.D. Scholars who let you know about the standard of the faculties here. Most of the faculties are helpful and are open to guide you in different projects.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
