Remarks

The admission Process is via the VITEEE exam which is quite an easy exam if you are preparing for JEE Main. The competition is not much high so you can fight quite well with little practice. After the VITEEE exam, you will be given ranks, and based on your rank you will be given different categories, and based on your category your fees will be finalized.

I choose a course in Data Science as there is an increasing demand for Data Scientists in the coming years. Faculty: Students Ratio is quite good as 1:65 Faculties have good qualifications with everyone having a Ph.D. Degrees from renowned college but teaching method is quite good as they try to make you understand well. Terms exam happens every 2 months and it's easy to pass it.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 307000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are based on Category. Category 1: 200K Category 2: 300K Category 3: 450K Category 4: 500K Category 5: 550K One can avail of all the scholarships and state scholarships. You can also avail yourself of a Study Loan from Indian Bank in VIT.

Campus Life

A large number of Clubs and Chapters that can't be counted much but can be approximated above 200. And these clubs include every field from cooking to gaming to technical of course. Sports are too much appreciated as they have Fielded for every sport. The campus is too good to roam around as its infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in India and very interactive environment around.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Includes different rooms such as 1,2,3,4,6 Bed AC, Non-Ac Rooms. Rooms are pretty small but they give facilities like Laundry service and every room has a table and cupboards for every student in the room. Mess food is never considered to be good anywhere but our mess has quite a quality compared to any other mess in India with a huge range of Menu. Not only South food is given North foods are appreciated too. Registration is using their online terminal but affordability is quite the problem as they don't even give Attached Bathroom for boys and rooms are small but the range is high.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
