Remarks

Admission is based on pure merit, during 2013 entrance exams were conducted for admission. The faculty infrastructure is very well and great compare to other Agriculture colleges in Tamilnadu for Under Graduate studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have an interest in Biology so I have opted for this course. During 2013 the student ratio 1:2, girls strength is more compared to boys. The teaching is very good, staffs provide study materials for easy understanding of subjects. The practical experience is very skillful for students.

Around 50 to 75% of students have been placed on the campus. The Remaining got opted for government jobs and higher studies and started their own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is around 30k and they provide scholarships for all eligible students. They provide training and intention programs for all students during the final year they are very much important for entrepreneurship development.

Campus Life

5

Annamalai University has the second largest library in Asia, has a vast variety of books from all around the world. They have a high-tech classroom for smart learning and teach advanced knowledge and technical experience for the students.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is not up to the mark but average and the quality of the food is average. The rental rooms are available near the faculty. There are many hotels and restaurants that provide high-class foods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In agriculture what you study in the books is not fully applicable in the field. The practical knowledge that the college provides is not up to the mark. 2.5 hrs practical classes must be engaged better. Every semester there will be 10-13 courses, each consisting theory and practicals. A mid-semester exam(20 marks) is conducted halfway through the semester. The practical exams(40 marks) are first conducted and there will be no gap between the exams. After this with one or two days gap the theory exams(40 marks)are also conducted daily like the practicals.
