Remarks

I gave viteee and the application process was pretty simple. Just refer to their site. I got rank 502 and the cutoff for category 1 cs core was around 750-800. You can find the application process from their website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Vit is very focused on academics and always keeps you busy the whole semester. So be ready for some hard work. Since the intake is more than other colleges , the competition is also fierce. The exams are moderate if you pay attention in classes.

Internships Opportunities

Since I am a first year student i haven't applied for internships but if you want there are plenty of options. Regular mails from the college give you information about the internships you can apply for and often the name of the college helps.

Fees and Financial Aid

Category 1 fees is 2 lakhs per year and increases with each category going upto 5 lakhs. Since I was a category 1 student I got to apply for a scholarship that gives me 50k discount on each years fees.

Campus Life

We have the Rivera , gravitas ,both being one of the top 10 college fests of Indian engineering colleges. Since being an online student, i don't know much about the offline campus life or infrastructure but I assume it's pretty good

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
