Remarks

Took entrance. I found application form in the website. The fees will differ based on the entrance rank. The fees and seats are differ from the other vit campus. The vellore campus fees is greater than chennai campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is fully flexible and credit based. You need to select your course and faculty for the course and it is slot based. There were two internal exam and one final exam. Exams are bit difficult sometimes and easy sometimes

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell which brings lots of firms for placement mostly IT firms. Students are eligible for if they no arrears. Placement starts at your 7th semester. Highest package offered was 40 lakhs and lowest package was 3 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess structure is based on your rank you scored in VITEE exam and based on the course you select and based on the campus you select. If you score 5000 rank in 2015 you would get vit campus and computer science course for 1 lakh.

Campus Life

Yes vit will conduct one tech fest and one cultural fest. Tech fest will be conducted at the odd semesters and cultural fest is conducted at the even semesters. And there are many clubs and social groups organized by vit students

Hostel Facilities

Hostel registration is based on the GPA. It's good have one 9 pointer in your gang so you will preferred first in room allotment and select whichever room you like. There are both AC and NON AC rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Calm and Student-Friendly at DMI College of Engineering

Likes

The college provides a friendly and supportive learning environment.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
