Remarks

It was very much transparent and easy to applied for the application forms can be find at Delhi university official website the cost of application form is 250 rupees and are opened from August I have not avail any reservation benefits I want to see that the admission process should be made more easier and convenient

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I really liked economics honours to pursue and the faculty to student ratio is around 25 students per teacher all the faculty is good and have well qualified they have completed their master's degree also and terms exams are taken and they are easy

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 7500 per year

Placement Experience

Become eligible for campus placements after 6th semester and around 50 companies visited last year and 200 office were placed the highest packages around 10 lpa and travels packages for 25 lph around 90% students get placed my plans are to get higher education after this degree

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about fees Hike policy but the cost to study is very less as you get a good job and the fees is very less I have not availed any scholarship for financial assistance I did not applied for any job on campus so I can't talk about the stipend

Campus Life

Books and journals are present in the library and classrooms are maintained well and they are well cleaned many sports electrical curricular activities are present in the campus a lot of societies are done by students which are performing well now a days

Students are eligible for placements in 3rd year as per the required eligibility of different placements units. Now there are some of the placement cells goig on inside the college. The placement cell is also active. The average placement of the college is 5 lakhs .

according to all the reviews i have read the placement ranges from 4-5 lcs per anumm to 24 lcs per anumm which is quite decent i think the students can become eligible for placements in 2nd year of college some companies that have visited the college : delloitte KPMG HDFC bank bajaj finance amazon genpact tata consulting services in 2024 around 300+ people were reported as placed highest packedge in 2024 - 12lkh per aummn

My overall experience in delhi university

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me, bachelor of Arts is a waste program, it doesn't prepare you for anything except government exams. It doesn't prepare you for real world applications unless you have other in demand skills. I think there's a lot of need to change the syllabus of bachelor of Arts and teachers should be supportive and qualified. In every 6 months there's semester exams and mostly they're quite difficult.

DU life is better than any other college life

Oldest College of Delhi University

Remarks:

Positive- Faculty is one of the best in among all colleges of Delhi University. It has the biggest infrastructure in Delhi university. Located in central Delhi which makes it easily accessible to reach Central park, red fort, and many more places in New Delhi. Negative- Annual fest is very poor in our college. Placements are not very good. Lack of sports facilities. Very strict rules and discipline.

My experience at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so far !!

To get admission into any college of University of Delhi you need to appear in CUET ( Common University Entrance Exam ). Cutoffs vary from college to college depending on how many students apply for that college. I simply chose SBSC over other colleges i was eligible for because it was the best option i had and since i didn't want to go to a girls college so preferred SBSC over DRC and IP and also over ARSD, SGGSCC and all other colleges at this level. I also got admitted in christ Bangalore ( Central Campus ) and Narsee Monjee ( Mumbai Campus ). But these institutions didn't seem worth it and Delhi University in general has a better reputation....Read More
