Admission Process - 1. Meet the eligibility criteria and fill the VIT Vellore application form. 2. Appear for VITEEE conducted by the varsity. 3. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of VITEEE score.Shortlisted candidates need to register and particiapate in VIT counselling. 4. Candidates need to fill campus choices and select VIT Velore as the first choice. 5. Next,campuses are alloted to candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teacher are excellent and the course is great if you put in extra effort you might become future millionaires or get great packages. Exams are a bit difficult but if you know the theory very well and have done little practice you can do questions easily. VIT conducts many exams so that students are fully prepared for placements.

Around 80% of students were placed. The highest salary pakage offered was ?48 lakhs/year, and the lowest salary pakage offered was ?5 lakhs/year. Microsoft, Wipro, TCS and many other companies visit the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The VIT tution fee for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering students at VIT is ?1,95,000/year. HOwever, students will have to pay ?3,000 as an additional caution fee in the first year. Merit scholarships are awarded to class toppers while economically disadvantaged students are provided need-based financial assistance every year.

Campus Life

VIT has 4 campuses in India currently , Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal, while Vellore and chennai are equally good , the other two are relatively new and still starting up ! The clubs here at VIT suits everyones enthusiasms and fits everyone on campus. there are around 200 clubs in VIT.

Hostel Facilities

The university has 17 hostels for boys and 6 for girls VIT Velore hostels can accommodate aroung 5000 students. The hostels have single, double, triple sharing etc rooms for students. all basic facilities are available at hostels.

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Likes

The college provides a friendly and supportive learning environment.
Most faculty members are approachable and helpful, especially when students need academic guidance

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
