Remarks

Vellore Institute conducts it's own VITEEE entrance exam. For taking admission in VIT , students must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of upto 70% aggregate from a recognised board. You can get application form on VIT official website ,and fill up the form and submit it before last date. The fees for the form is INR 1250 and have to clear VITEEE entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

More than 70% of faculty members are PhD degree holders here. Most of the teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Many of them have industry experience also. They generally use a board to teach students,projectors,while some with PPTs. The course curriculum is well designed and is according to industry needs. The pass percentage is around is 40%.

Internships Opportunities

Nokia , Intel, Accenture, visit/comes with good internship opportunities, every year. Roles offered are: Software developer/engineer, business analyst Almost every students from CSE gets at least one internship.

Placement Experience

From our course,ie. CSE , around 95% of students of total participated students got placements. Top recruiting companies here are Amazon, Microsoft,Deloitte,JP Morgan,TCS,Cognizant comes with good offers. The highest package here is 44LPA and lowest package offered is 4LPA. The average package offered is 6LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees to pursue BTech, at VIT will approximately cost you between INR 7.04 lakh to INR 7.92 lakh ,which is low as compared to other colleges Yes VIT scholarships are available to only those students, who have secured a rank under 1,000 in VITEEE examination. You can pay fees through any payment gateway or you can take help of bank loan .

Campus Life

Our college organizes a national cultural fest named Vibrance. Wi-Fi is available with a limit of 1.5-2 GB per day. There are classrooms with a projector, both white and green board. Classrooms are aerated and have cushioned benches and fans. There is a world-class library,which is sprawled over four floors and 25,000 square feet. It has excellent infrastructure.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
