Remarks

To take admission in VIT one must have to pass the VITEEE entrance exam with good marks. You can easily get the application on VIT official website, and the fee for the form is INR 1250. For UG admission, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with a 70% aggregate from the recognized board.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because the upcoming future, and world are based on technology and innovations, and this course makes a student future-ready. The course curriculum is great, and the FFCS(fully flexible credit system) system, allows you to choose your course, teachers and slots according to your convenience. Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and have enough knowledge to teach students.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Intel, Dell, Texas, HP, Hitachi, etc. comes with good intern opportunities. Projects and job descriptions are followed as: 1. Software Designer. 2. Web Developer. 3. Create your own website and work on it.

Placement Experience

Placements in VIT are very good for students of CSE, IT, ECE, and bio-Informatics. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Udaan, Cloudera and Amazon visit our college with good offers. Mainly 100% got placed every year in top companies. The highest package offered is 40LPA, the lowest package offered is 4LPA, and the average package offered is 5-6LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is approx. 4.89 lakh - 7.83 lakh for 4 years of BTech. You can pay fees through any payment gateway and take the help of a bank loan. One must get a scholarship if he/she scores rank below 1000 in the VITEEE examination.

Campus Life

The college is home to two grand fests like Gravitas which is technical fests, and Riviera is a cultural fest. The college organises lots of extracurricular activities, and students who are interested can participate. The college provides great facilities in terms of hostels, labs and classrooms. The library is well furnished and has lots of books.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.
