A Brief about NITJ

The Time table for the start of the semester was given two days before the commencement of the classes. The mode of classes that our batch had was online because of the same situation of CoVID-19. The faculty members were very friendly and informative. They help the students very much in all the queries and the administrative process was too good and the reply to our mail comes within an hour or a two and the academics department will be answering our calls with no difficulty.

Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, offers a wide array of enriching internship opportunities that cater to students from diverse academic backgrounds. Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester as far as my knowledge is concerned and this is not final. Details could be found by visiting the college. Many companies visited our college and the placements records are on our college website. Many Internship oppurtuinities will be available here.

Tution fee was 62,500 for General, OBC and EWS Category Students whose parents' annual family income is more than 5 Lac. 20,800 for General, OBC and EWS Category Students whose parents'annual family income is in between 1 to 5 Lac. 0 for General, OBC and EWS Category Students whose parents'annual family income is less than 1 Lac and also for SC, ST and PwD students. Scholarships can be applied and the college would be easily approving these. Various Scholarship Schemes can be availed from the institute's website.

Actually, as we are attending our online classes, we didn't experience much of the campus vibes but we've joined many of the clubs online. Various clubs can be viewed from the institute's website. All the students here are very friendly and this college is purely ragging free.

Same reason as we've attending our online classes, we didn't experience much of the hostel life and when I go there, I will definitely update my review on this. According to some seniors, Hostel life was fantastic ????.

Firstly, Apply for JoSAA Counselling and keep your preference for Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar and if you come under the cutoff, You will be provisionally given an admission into the college and you should report online on the registration form provided in the college website itself. This reporting was online only in our case because of the prevailing situation of CoVID-19 otherwise, it would be in offline mode where you can visit the college and enjoy the beauty and melodies of it.
