Remarks

The eligibility of this course is, that you have studied physics, chemistry, biology and English in your class 11th and 12th, with a good percentage. Pursuing this course, means you are completely clear about what you wanna be in your future. This is a highly specific course that makes you understand the biological mechanisms of living organisms and what can be required more to alter these mechanisms for the benefit of living kind. Before 2022 admission process is based on a cutoff system, but from this year (2022) you have to give an entrance exam(CUET), for which the preparation should get started from your class 12th. In the admission process, there would be partial credit for your CUET score and class 12 the percentage. And you will definitely get benefits, for reservation quota ( some depreciation of ranks).

I am damn sure, to be a scientist in the field of physiology. Faculty:student = 1:12. All the teachers are masters in their field, they all are PhD holders from recognized universities. They are always used to teach to make us imagine and visualization of concepts. Chalk and blackboard, PowerPoint presentation, 3-d models, field trip (for hands on experience) etc. methods are involved. For practising and learning concepts, teachers take the surprised and preplanned test, randomly around every week. And by the university, the examinations are held every semester (after 6 months). The exams by teachers are tough (because of analytical questions), but exams by the university are moderate level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
