Remarks

There was an entrance test and it had very high-security measures and many students were caught cheating and banned from the exam. There was no cutoff mentioned by VIT. They just told us our ranks and there was a counselling session then and the dates of the counselling depended on our ranks and the fees for the courses were less for people scoring rank less than 5k My rank was 7k and i was given CSE in 4 lakh/year

I had an interest in this course a lot and there are approx 80 students in a class. The quality of the faculty is good and most of them are very friendly. There are 2 mid sems in VIT and 1 end sem and usually, mid sem are tougher than end sem

I am a fresher but I have done one internship from skill vertex for data science and was pretty great. I learned many new things and it was a good experience to get hands-on work in 1st year itself. There were 2 projects major and minor given to do in 1 month after the training month.

The fees are high for people who didn't get a good rank in the entrance exam. The fees structure is divided into 2 parts with equal payments in each session right now I am a fresher so I don't have any scholarship, financial assistance and job

Riviera, the annual International Sports and Cultural Fest, is one of the major events that give students a platform to showcase and shape their talent in various technical and managerial areas. GraVITas is VIT University’s Annual technological and design Carnival. There are tons of clubs and chapters in vit even trekking club, gaming clubs etc And the sports facilities are pretty decent too

Hostel Facilities

There is a bed, an almirah, a study table and a chair is given to a student and the room is pretty clean and decent The meal is good given in hostel and is divided into 3 categories veg, non-veg and mess The registration process was online through vit student login and was pretty hectic

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
