Remarks

Applicant must have passed Class 12 with PCM, to apply for Bachleor Of Technology with Computer Science and Engineering. SRM University has its own entrance exam known as SRMJEE. An Applicant needs to apply and pass the SRMJEE in order to get an admission in SRM University.

Course Curriculum Overview

SRM University has good faculties and is providing specialization in various fileds (For Example :- Artificial Intelligene, Cloud Computing, etc.) There are 12 students per faculty. Around 25% of faculty members are PhD. Besides Semester Exams SRM has monthly test which are known as Cycle Tests.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship companies PayPal, Josh Technologies, Triology, Kuddle, etc. are various companies that have come with internship offers a lot of these companies provide a stipend of 10000 - 20000 but some companies like PayPal can provide a stipend of around 40000.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement from 7th Semester. Amazon, CISCO, DBS, SAP Labs, Google, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. More than 10000 offers were made to 8000 students. In 2022 a student got an offer of 1 Crore but average package is around 5 Lakhs. SRM have 100% placement for students with no backlogs. I plan after getting a degree is to prepare for a Government Office.

Fees and Financial Aid

Now the yearly Tution fee is 3 Lakh Rupees. I personally haven't received any scholarship. SRM University is said to have a 100% placement record but there is a condition that the student must not have any backlogs.

Campus Life

SRM conducts 2 fests each year, one is as a welcome to the freshers and the other is like a DJ night. Library has a lot of books and books can be issues for 15 days the you will have to re-issue the book. Sports like is not much SRM only includes Cricket and Table Tennis at some good level rest sports are not taken care of (In NCR Campus).

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
