Remarks
Firstly you have to clear Jee main to get admission into this college, the application fee for jee the main form is around 650 for general males and it's half for general females, considering general students you just need a percentile above 94 to get admission into the college for the home state (I'm not considering branch ) and for the outside state you need percentile above 96... After your results are announced you need to fill your college preference order in jossa counseling, based on your rank your college and branch are allotted to you at the end...
Course Curriculum Overview
In one sem you have 2 minor examinations and at the end, you have the final end semester examination So basically you have to give 6 term exams in one year of your college degree... Minors are easy to pass as there is less load of units you have to cover but in end sem you have to cover the whole 6 months syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
On-campus companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Nvidia, and various others offer role of a software engineer and other technical jobs like for front-end and back-end developer, there are around 3-4 students who got pre-placement offer in Microsoft with stipend around 70-80k monthly.
Placement Experience
Students pursuing their degree in 3rd year of college can apply for campus placement or pre-placement offers... There are around 80+ recruiters namely amazon, oracle, Flipkart, Paytm , Wipro, and various others. The highest package offered is 44 LPA offered by amazon and avg. is around 11.25 LPA In my department ICE around 89% of students got placed on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure is divided into 3 parts firstly your tuition fee, secondly your mess and hostel charges, and thirdly college facilities like gymnasium, sports, etc. There is a scholarship for students who perform well for the whole year (not for general males) and the rest are scholarships for SC/ST/EWS students. For financial assistance, you can join some on-campus college start-ups for your monthly expenses just for kind part-time and if you are looking for campus jobs you have to wait till 3rd year of a college degree but it's preparation will learning to code, dsa, etc you can start earlier and I have to specially mention that in your intern your avg. monthly wages are around 6-7k not more than that and sometimes you also have to work without a stipend to just show your college that you had work as an intern in a company
Campus Life
For the annual fest, there are techniti and utkansh which are conducted once a year are conducted around the month of March and April. There are a lot of books and journals in the central library you just need time to read all of those Classrooms are good like air-conditioned (considering my ICE department) if I consider the mechanical or civil department there are classrooms with fans. On-campus, you can take part in any sport and also compete in inter NITs competitions and for other extracurricular activities, there are clubs (dance, music, English literature, drama, Technical clubs) that you can join by giving an audition. Firstly all clubs in the college are managed by students only basically 3rd or 4th-year students. In dance we have two clubs namely ( SI Crew and Criminal ), In drama again we have two clubs ( Baware and Kalakar ), for literature we have LADC and Zeal society.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good I personally prefer a three-mate room because it's big in size and there is a water cooler in each corridor of your room. The meal quality was quite good. in 3rd and 4th year sometimes okay okay also but in the first and second year the mess is quite good but if you don't like mess food you can visit college canteens. The registration process is quite simple you just have to pay your hostel and mess fee online then you just allotted a room by college administrative they are quite affordable acc. to me like around 1 lakh for one year (both mess and hostel)
