Remarks

Eligibility-You must pass 12th with a PCM aggregate of 60%. You can register for the VITEEE exam on it.ac.in. There is no reservation policy. Admission to various branches is given based on the rank secured in the VITEEE exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

EEE is a very challenging branch of engineering. I chose EEE just because I love dealing with electrical circuits and also placement for this branch is good. Most of the teachers from the EEE department have done Ph.D. We have 2 term exams with a 1a -month gap and then the final exam. If you study properly your faculty notes, you can score good marks.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 235000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I didn't get any placement or internship opportunities. I heard from my seniors that many students get an internship during 3rd year. The companies offer various roles such as Associate Engineer, Software Engineer, Web Developer, etc.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like DeShaw, Microsoft, TCS, and KCL visited our college. The highest package offered in our college this year is 75 lakhs/yr. 2 students bagged this package. After getting my degree, I want to work at Google.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is quite high. But in the end, it's worth it if you can crack good placement. Since I am in my first year, I didn't get any internship opportunities from my college till now.

Campus Life

We had one cultural fest in June where students can dance, sing in groups, or solo performances. There is a huge stack of books available on our campus. The only bad thing about my college is that most of the classrooms are not air-conditioned. ISO VIT is a chapter run by the students of VIT.

Hostel Facilities

The room is quite spacious and ac also works properly. Each student is provided with one chair and desk along with the bed. To be honest, I don't like the hostel mess. The taste of the food is not as good as expected.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
