Remarks

The students can find the university application form on the official website of VIT( vit.ac.in), the application costs around 1100 INR. There will be entrance exam for the eligibility process. All the students have to sit for VITEEE examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I am really interested in computer science and I want to become a developer once I graduate. The faculty to student ration in vit is not bad, there is one faculty avalable for every 65-85 students. The faculty that teach in our campus are highly qualified and teach us in an realy innovative ways which help us to learn quickly. The end-term exams in VIT are not so hard, you can pass them and maybe ace them if you prepare notes in every class and revise them every day, instead of studying one night before the exam.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 490000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come to offer internships in vit. Some of the companies include google, PayPal, amazon, Flipkart, TCS. they provide a good stipend to the students. Through these internships, the students will be able to get industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

Students of BTech will be eligible to sit for the campus placements from the end of their 6th semester. Good companies like Google, TCS, Infosys, PayPal, and Flipkart come to recruit students and offer a really good way. The average package is around 8lpa. Almost all students get placed in vit.

Fees and Financial Aid

VIT fee structure includes 5 categories, the students are divided into categories based on their viteee rank.CAT3, CAT4, and cat5 fees are not generally affordable because the fees are really too high. Students can apply for various scholarships and financial aid, some scholarships are provided by vit itself but the competition is really high, and the student has to work really hard to get selected for the scholarship.

Campus Life

The life at VIT, Vellore campus is really good if you can manage both college fun life and academics side by side. There are two fests conducted every year in it, one is the cultural fest Rivera and the other is the technical fest Gravitas. Rivera is conducted in the month of February every year and Gravitas is conducted in the month of September every year. The library of vit is quite good with a lot number of books available. The classrooms are spacious enough. There are a lot of sports facilities available on campus. A lot of clubs and chapters are also there in vit.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
