Remarks
I applied for JIIT Noida, DTU, and NSUT (formerly NSIT) and out of these 3 NSIT was the best combination of branch and college at my rank which was around 45k. The admission process was conducted by JAC Delhi and it was quite smooth and self-explanatory.
Course Curriculum Overview
TBH I chose my branch because it was the best available option for me but you get plenty of opportunities, especially for non-technical jobs. Some faculties are excellent and they won't unnecessarily bother you and term exams are relatively easy and scorable.
Internships Opportunities
Around 30-40 companies come for an internship opportunity. These are mostly tech-based and give a Pre Placement offer too. On campus, Internships are generally open for top branches only and there's a completely different scenario for placement sessions.
Placement Experience
The placement session starts from the 7th semester i.e starting of the final year and goes on for the whole year. Around 250+ companies visit the college campus for different technical, non-technical, and core profiles. Most of the tech-based and non-tech-based companies allow students from all branches. For my branch the avg package offered is 10lpa and around 75% of students got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is an annual 10% hike in academic fees for all categories. Each semester's department rankers get a scholarship equal to the tuition fees. The economic weaker section category can opt for a scholarship as well.
Campus Life
The college has its annual cultural fest moksha and annual tech fest innovision as well. The social life is excellent there are around 30+ different cultural and technical societies. One can join as many clubs as he/she wants the seniors to help a lot. overall it's a great experience.
