Why Ramjas?

I applied to various colleges and universities across the globe. However, my priority was Delhi University and Ramjas was among the top 5 colleges that I wanted to get into because of the diverse group of courses and ultimately diverse group of students that Ramjas has. Ramjas is also known for its multiple excelling societies that I always wished to be a part of.

Delhi University is known for the faculty members that it has and for the dynamic course curriculum that is amended every year as per industrial demands. The faculty for Commerce at Ramjas is undoubtedly the best because the professors pay attention to each and every student individually. I remember going to the first class while the teacher was about to introduce himself. I got the book on that particular subject and while the teacher introduced himself, I noticed that he is the same professor who has written the book that we follow at DU. There are multiple authors who are professors and we learn from them directly.

I have grabbed and worked with 6 companies through the placement cell's internship opportunities. Recently, DE Shaw also hired interns from Ramjas being one of the very few colleges where DE Shaw hires from. The internship opportunities stipend range from Rs. 1000 - Rs. 50000 per annum varying as per various companies and profiles.

The final-year students are eligible for all placement opportunities. Over 50+ companies hire from Ramjas including Deloitte, PwC, Bain & Company, McKinsey, DE Shaw, Zomato and many many more. We have 100% placement of all the students who had registered and were willing to be a part of the placement process. The highest package has been 24,00,000 and the average package is 10,00,000 with diverse profiles like a political advisor to audit assistant. My plan is to join Deloitte as an audit assistant.

The fee structure is minimal. It is between 10000 - 12000 for all courses per year which is reasonable. Additionally, the Placement Cell of the college does great work in bringing the best of the best companies including all the big fours, companies like DE Shaw and Bain also hire from Ramjas regularly.

The Ramjas Annual Fest is usually held in the month of March and is one of the best fests in the entire DU. The library is well equipped with all necessary books and journals and there is a facility for the blind students to also access the books. The classrooms particularly in the new building are well maintained with all technological advancements required for teaching purposes. There are over 12 societies that are actively working at Ramjas and this ranges from literary, and dance to reading clubs.
