Remarks

You need to complete your junior college with pass mark and you need to give srm jee for seats without donation and the cut off depends on the course you are opting, cse and IT RELATED courses have tough competition and you will be awarded free seat as well based on your performance

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose is CSE (ai &ml) because right now AI is on a good go and we the packages are good related to the IT department. The faculty-student ratio is not that great around 20:1 as the university's strength is really high. the faculty is not that great all the time I would rate them 6/10 regarding their teaching skills. The exams are very easy and getting a pass mark needs bare minimum effort with some efforts, you can score 90%

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements at the university are quite good but the packages are not high for everyone, 3.8 lakhs package is basically something the majority of srm is offered but that doesn't mean that's all you get, 80% of students get placement. I haven't planned my future yet

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is pretty high in srm as it is a private deemed University. On average it will cost each student around 20 Lakhs for the whole course including the hostel and it may charge you more depending on your course, I recommend considering this university if you have the capacity to pay for the university or if you score a free seat. And the scholarship will continue if you score good marks in your semesters

Campus Life

SRM is all about clubs events fests etc. One of the biggest university events in India happenss in SRM such as AARUUSH AND MILAAN, this is just jaw-dropping. The library is one of the best things on campus as you can find anything related to academics in here but nothing related to novels, regarding groups you have many clubs you can get in and do internship some pay and some dont

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are fine but really expensive in srm, non-ac hostels range from 1.2 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs and ac hostels are above 2 lakhs and below 2.5 lakhs Food is nutritious but and tasteful, its a mix of south and north cuisine I feel like we can adjust with this menu. There are many places for students to stay outside like estancia, green pearl, abode, vgn , and Aishwarya which are the communities available within a radius of 2.5 km

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
