Remarks

SRM Institute use to conduct their exam called SRMJEE to which I applied and based on your rank they use to give you your desired courses on their campuses as per the eligibility and availability. For Computer Science Engineering you need to score well. My rank in SRMJEE was comparatively fine to my other examination so I took admitted here in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and Communication Engineering is nowadays an emerging field so I opted for it. Talking about course curriculum and faculty members of SRMIST is very praise able. Faculty here are well experienced and educated as per the curriculum. Exams patterns are similar but conducting period is versatile. If you study well then not need to worry.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies coming for placements use to give internships also. There are a lot of research opportunities here. All that is needed is that you should be skilled. You can decide your career path by experiencing a real-ground environment.

Placement Experience

Placements always start with the skillset of their students. There are a lot of opportunities with good and prestigious firms but all that is needed is that you should be skilled. Here placement percentage use to be 100% with average packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little bit unfavorable to choose but it is worth it. They are having various options for scholarships but you need to be talented to grab them. You can have scholarships for academics, sports, extracurricular activities, and under special financial assistance.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is Aruush (Technical Fest) and Milan (Cultura Fest). Both are amazing and share your memorable experiences. The library is one of the main attractions on campus. You can have any book of any writer, title, etc. The campus is full of greenery and architecture.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is also good here, sometimes messy food is not liked by students but they are having a lot of variety with a nutritional plan. Hostel buildings are fine with well-designed infrastructure. you can have a variety of choices for rooms which all are secured and well maintained.

Hostel Fee: INR 960000 per year

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
