Remarks

Earlier in CSJMU BTech admission was done on the merit of the UPSEEE exam but from 2021 UPSEEE is fully cancelled and now admission was done on the basis of percentile in JEE main, You can apply directly on CSJMU UIET Kanpur Website after JEE Exam to get admission Students getting rank 160000+ will surely get CS in CSJMU The fee for CSE, IT is 106000 And for electronic, mechanical, chemical, and MSME is 86000

I got a 13k rank in my UPSEEE exam and I got ECE in UIET CSJMU Kanpur The faculty-student ratio is between 19:1 and 20:1 70% of faculty are from IIT pass out, they are experienced in their field, and all the faculty are very supportive Talking about the exam process there is 2 midterm exam and 1 end term exam Exam papers are made by the teaching faculty so all the questions come from the syllabus and it's easy to pass if you study only 1-2 hours daily

From 6 semester you will get a chance to sit in campus placement Some of the companies which are visited in CSJM are TCS, Wipro, webkul technology, learning routes, intellipats, Bajaj capital, and many more 60% students get placed through campus and the rest get jobs from campus drive My plan is to clear the UPSC exam after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to another self-financed government college here FEE is very sensible You will get a scholarship from the UP government of about 64000 You will get many internships opportunities and Job offers in colleges but not as high as IIT, NIT

In UIET CSJMU Kanpur in the month of September technbospandan an annual fest is conducted and in the month of November Yuva Mahotsav is conducted CSJM library is one of the large libraries in Kanpur you will find all kinds of books journals etc you want, you can keep books for 1 month, 4 books issued at a time. Some classrooms have AC, projector and separate cushioned chairs of about 60 in a single classroom CSJM campus has an international-level stadium, Olympic size swimming pool, basketball court etc And the sports festival is happening in the month of August CSJM have a cultural club, cooking club, robotics club, coding club, gardening club You will also get the opportunity to join NCC and NSS there is a website uietkanpur.com which is run by the student for student

CSJM have two hostel, one is shivaji boys hostel and second is swarn jayanti hostel In swarn jayanti hostel their is space for 400 student and in swarn jayanti space is for 200, food for both hostel is cooked by common mess Qulaity of mess food is good, you will four time meal Morning breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Menu changes every month student committee decided the menu of mess Hostel fee is 64000 including room and mess After getting admission in CSJM kanpur you can directly apply for the hostel from csjmu website You will also get many PG option nearby college and nearest their are two market kalyanpur and gurudev

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced

Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

I choose this collge over other college because firstly I belong to this city and this is a only government College in my Kanpur city which provied a quality of education. I didn't applied any other Colleges so I didn't get rejected from any other Colleges. The admission process of this college is very simpler first fill the university admission form that is 300 fees and then fill all the other information in smarth portal that is generalised database of so many colleges then the faculty and the college coordinators will approve your admission and sent you a email to come over college and give the writen paper and an interview and then you will enter in your college and admission granted.
