JECRC University from the perspective of a Fresher

The eligibility criteria are 60% in 10+2 with PCM. You can also avail free rebate/scholarship if you've scored >75%. Keep in mind that you'll see a lot of students in B.Tech CSE who can't even turn on a computer. You can apply for the college online or by visiting the campus. The application form is Rs.1000. There's no last date for the admission process, even though tho University insists there is, I've seen students getting admission a month after their last date of admission (and this last date was already changed twice).

I took BTech CSE as I wanted to pursue a career in the flourishing and booming IT sector. Most of the Faculties at JECRC University are either PhD or in the process of being a PhD. Their teaching methods might be questionable by a few but if you're attentive enough, you'll surely pass the exams without any backlog. The management shares a calendar for the entire academic session and that is followed for the exams.

There are a lot of companies visiting for interns as well. A student got a 300,000/month stipend in a Japanese Multi National company. If you're hard-working enough, you'll find no problem getting placed.

Campus placements start from the 6th semester (3rd year) onwards. Companies like Amazon, Google, Adobe, Capgemini, TCS, and Wipro are some of the recruiters. Amazon offered a 44LPA package to 11 students. Placements for JECRC University and JECRC Foundation (College affiliated with RTU Kota) are held together. If you want a placement, you'll get a placement. Management is increasing the number of companies visiting, so stats will improve even further.

The fee hike is not that bad as compared to some other universities. If you were to take a hostel, the total cost will be about 13,00,000. You can take a cost EMI option or education loan as per your requirement. You can get a scholarship according to your score in the 12th board exams.

JU Rhythm is their annual fest and is one of the best among universities and colleges in Jaipur. Among sports, you'll find Cricket, Football, American Football and many more.
