The admission process for LPU is very simple, one has to apply for LPUNEST, which is the entrance exam conducted by LPU itself. I am a Btech CSE student. The competition for this course is very high in the whole of India. So each class will be having around 70-75 students in it. They also have very good faculty majorly youngsters who can mingle with students easily so that student-teacher interaction is on the high side. Coming to exams, you will have a midterm exam and an end-term exam for each subject in the course.

I was not offered any internship as of now as we are specifically known as the corona batch, in which our two years of Btech life are wasted in the online mode. But you can get your internship if you have good technical skills. Many companies are arriving these days to offer internships starting from around 40k per month as a stipend.

At LPU, there are more than 400 companies that offer placements to students. And coming to the placements offered is completely based on the student and his technical skills. Even if you have basic skills, many companies give you a base package like 2.5lakhs to 3.0 lakhs. Faculty will provide their best to you in brushing your skills.

LPU offers very huge scholarships for students based on their performance in academics, sports, etc. On an academic basis, they provide scholarships based on their JEE, 12th class mark sheet and also the 10th mark sheet. On a sports basis, they provide you scholarships if you have participated in national or state levels sports.

LPU also has numerous student and youth clubs that conduct many events throughout the year and also help many students to relieve their academic stress. These clubs also help students by providing proper guidance and mentoring to achieve their goals.

LPU has a variety of hostel types like Dormitories, standard rooms, and apartments. Dormitories are like 8seater rooms, they have common washrooms in them. Standard rooms are rooms which 1,2,3,4,5 seater rooms AC/Non AC with attached washroom in it. Apartments are the same as standard rooms but they get a small reserved portion for cooking. The hostel may be quite expensive when compared to PGs located outside the University. But coming to safety it is very safe inside the hostel, especially for girls.
