The Eligibility is to get a good rank in VITEEE Entrance Exam. You can find the application form on VIT Official Site. And the fees would be around 1200. No Reservation is Available in this college. And This Admission is quite good and smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
My Father is an Engineer. I watched him work with electronic devices since my childhood. It sparked some interest in me too. I never felt connected with any other stream. Faculty to Student Ratio - I don't exactly know but I guess its somewhat 1:50 which is considered pretty bad but I never felt a lack of attention or guidance from the faculties Most of the Faculties are Doctorate Holders And even the Lab assistants are Doctorate Aspirants. All Teacher's Notes are provided on their Official Student Site VTOP. Teaching methods vary from teacher to teacher but most of the times its good. There are 3 exams - CAT 1, CAT 2 and FAT. There is an exam after every 5-6 weeks of classes. CAT 2 is open book Other Exams are Close Book None of the exams are very tough to pass. But we need to understand that passing is never an issue. Main aim should be getting good grades. Getting S Grade is quite tough.
Internships Opportunities
I don't have an in-depth idea about internships but I would that companies root for young talents in internships. They provide good stipends to attract them for offline internships. They then provide PPOs to guys they like.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees Structure - Category 1 - 1.5L per year, Category 2 - 2.5L per year, Category 3 - 4 per year, Category 4 - 4.5 per year, Category 5 - 5 per year, And Hostel and Mess Fees vary per year so no good in mentioning them. You will get a better Category depending on your Rank in VITEEE. And VIT haven't disclosed its fees hike policy yet. And you will get further scholarships and financial assistance if your rank is below 1000 in VITEEE. I haven't got a job yet I am still in Second Year I have heard the Average Package this Year was 9 LPA.
Campus Life
Techno Management Fest - Gravitas - August. Cultural Fest - Riviera - February. The Library in VIT is one of the biggest libraries in India and the Biggest one in South India. Most of the Classes have Smart Screen and Projectors. Some Classes do have AC. Some Classes are in the shape of Auditorium Halls. They gave a similar feeling as you might see in foreign institutes like Oxford and MIT. A lot of sports are played on campus. Sports Equipments are provided by VIT to play. Particular Coaches always keep an eye on you to scout new talents in Official Teams. There are regular Tournaments and a special Freshers' Tournament. Trendz is the most famous student-run site in VIT. There are a ton of student clubs, chapters, and teams.
