Remarks

I filled out the form and one thing I want to point out is that their website is very bad. It has so many bugs and due to overload, its server gets down. Application fees were 1100 and yeah the exams were pretty easy they gave me enough time for the entrance preparation and took three exams. I did not get any reservation benefit though I'm an athlete with many certificates.

I want to opt for computer science but I wasn't able to clear its cut-off. Then I choose ECE which is pretty similar and good. Some teachers are really very good and we get to review the teachers in every sem which is a pretty good thing. Our second sem exams were held very late as when other colleges were opening for the second year we were going back home after completing our first year.

Internships Opportunities

SRM gives every student an opportunity to get an internship to gain work experience with different companies. Around 2000 internship offers were made for the students with a varying stipend. The companies like Amazon also come to srm.

Placement Experience

After on in the sixth sem students become eligible for the placements. There were 1000+ companies visited and 10000+ offers made and the total number of students who got placements was 67 percent. The highest package was 1Cr per annum which is great.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike for the tuition or hostel fees. I didn't get any of the jobs or other things till now but the placement in our college is pretty good compared to other private colleges which I think is a good deal.

Campus Life

The cultural fest is 'Milan'. The technical fest is 'Aaruush'. The fest here is very good and they handle a huge crowd very responsibly. The library is very good with h great number of books and journals. Sports in our college are not that good as they don't even care how you are doing in this field or not. You have to push yourself. There are many clubs in our college like Alumni affairs, GithubSRM, Alexa Developers, etc. There are many helpful websites run by students to help other students.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
