Internship or Research after M.Sc. Food and Nutrition

The admission is through the entrance exam of PET BHU or CUET conducted by NTA. The is easily available on the official website of BHU entrance exam or on CUET website. The cost of form is Rs 1100 only. The reservation student would get benefit to get admission easily on less marks depends on the availability of seats. The cut off was 280 in M.Sc. Food and Nutrition. The admission process is online avaliable on BHU website but verification process is offline.

The course Master of Science in Food and Nutrition is having more scope nowadays in the world. My interest towards science behind the food nutritions, vitamins, minerals, energy brought me to choose this subject. It plays a huge role in the diets of an individual. This subject comes under Home Science (Food and Nutrition) in Mahila Maha Vidayalaya, BHU faculty. There are 39 students in my class.The teachers are so friendly with the students and clearing all their doubts, providing notes, developing skills, giving more practical knowledge. After teaching some chapters sessional test are conducted which are added in final exam. Semester exams are held on every 6th months. The questions are given within syllabus which are already discussed by teachers in the class through revision or tests.

The course which I'm pursuing M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition there's no placement through college but we need to do 6 months internship to get job. Here, in the 2 year of course dissertation are given by the teachers related to food and nutrition to work on projects and do surveys work in the last semester of the course. After that there will be our choice whether we want to go in research field or in job field through internship.

The fees of the course Rs 2990/- per semester. Students who are financially weak scholarships are provided to them after filling scholarship form provided by office in the faculty. The course fees is so affordable anyone can join this course after their bachelor's degree.

Campus has very good environment for students everything avaliable inside the campus from sports playground to hospital, library. The conference, seminar are organized 4-5 times in every month in different departments of faculties. If it's related to your subject BHU students can join it. Libraries are avaliable in every departments realted to their course and Central Library is also thier for students 24×7 where every course of books are avaliable it's very huge library beside the cyber library is avaliable. Fest are organized on every 3-4 months. Recently the 3 days events Elixir 2022 fest conducted by IMS student where they called singer Ganjendra Verma, Madhur Sharma, comedian Akash Gupta. Also the Krishna Janamastmi was celebrated in the campus it was so awesome celebration by the students in their hostels. The sports club for every events, swimming pool avaliable in the campus. You can join the social group of BHU students or any NGOs for any social works.

The Girls Hostel where I'm staying is very neat and clean. Facilities provided in the double seater room is table with drawer and chair, almira, bed, 2 lights and fan. Washrooms are common and clean. Mess is avaliable on every floors providing variety of tasty 4 times meals in just Rs.130 everyday, drinking water is purified common induction are given in the mess for hostellers. Wifi is avaliable in every hostel and in departments as well. Hostels are given according to the Index rank in the entrance exam of BHU and hostel list is made according to it.
