Remarks

To get into srm, First of all, you have to write an exam conducted by srm. After the results were out you will be notified of your result and now you get the procedure for Admission, Admission process was so simple and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Coming to exams, for each semester there are three tests called CT'S and two semester-end exams per year. If we go through the class notes thoroughly and attend the practical classes regularly it's easy to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

There will be many companies coming to srm and offering internships. And also SRM itself offers internships for students. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, amazon, Accenture etc offer free or paid internships and placement

Placement Experience

From the 4th/5th semester students are eligible for placements. There will be many companies visiting this university and one can get placed in either of the companies for sure!!! . As far as I know, the highest package achieved is one crore and the average package is around 8 to 10 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure: I'm pursuing my BTech at srm University and I personally feel that the fees at srm are high. But some members say it's not too bad because the average package at srm is decent. But if we get a good rank in srmjee we will be getting scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life at srm is good. Every year there are two fests conducted here. Aarush and milan. These are the best. Coming to the infrastructure of SRM University is daam good, we can find all the facilities required for a student. Classrooms are decent and them coming to clubs /extracurricular activities, there are many things one can do here.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel of srm ktr campus is old and its infrastructure is not that good. The pricing of hostels is too high. We can stay in an AC room outside instead of staying in the non-ac room in the hostel. The food here is decent and sometimes bad.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
