A lot to know, A lot to discuss : lko university

University life has been my best memory. I took admission in Masters of commerce 2017-19 at lk university. One can get into the university by clearing an entrance exam which was my subject when I appeared for the exam (now due to covid it has been objective in nature ). The University of Lucknow has been my dream. The campus life provides a mixed cultures Hotspot. I too had a south Korean friend. There used to be many cultural events such as SANSKRITI, CONFLUENCE 2021, ZEST, and many more. A canteen is a famous place for get to gather on the entire campus. Apart from this, even the faculties are very cooperative and motivating. You will be trained under very reputable faculty such as Professor Somesh Shukla. Very lucky to have been taught by him. Talking about the environment, the university is well neat and clean. TAGORE LIBRARY is the best ever and well famous library. Very happy when I came to know that the university had been ranked A++ ranking in the rating scale. Do visit lkouniv.ac.in. ALL THE BEST.

I choose the Master of commerce course from the university. Since I had been a commerce student from class 11th. The university's department of commerce will provide reputed Professors such as Professor Somesh Shukla for income tax subjects. In total, we had 120 approx M.com ( commerce) students. There had been 4 semesters along with assignments and vivas. For maintaining a better student-teacher ratio, We had various groups with assigned senior members. Thus we have one-to-one communication with the teacher. Remembering exam days gives me goosebumps because the sitting arrangement was very entirely different and students were intermixed with other department students. Still, those days have been excellent memories for me ever after.

Talking about the fee structure of the campus, it was semester-wise. There were different fees for regular and self-financed students. I myself being a Regular student had to pay 5000(approx) each semester while self-financed students were to pay 15000 approx for each semester. Apart from this regarding hostel facilities, I don't have much information because Lucknow is my hometown. University provides scholarship facilities for economically weaker students. One needs to fulfill the university guidelines for the same.

University of Lucknow is well famous for its TAGORE LIBRARY. The library lies next to our department of commerce. It provides a huge collection of books. Here even outsiders are also allowed. At a regular interval there are fests such as SANSKRITI, COFLUENCE and many others. Even sports events are also organised. The campus environment is very intermixed culturally .
