DETAILED REVIEW ON NIT JALANDHAR

There is an entrance exam called JEE ( joint entrance examination ) this exam is conducted by the government every year for getting students admission to IITs, NITs, and IITs. better the rank you get more is your chance to get admission in these premium institutes. there is a cutoff present for every institute, one can get admission if he/she has scored more marks than the cutoff.

I choose biotechnology as my course because it is emerging in India day by day. also in NIT Jalandhar BIOTECH branch have very good faculty some of them graduated from IITs. and some of them are from foreign universities. there is 1 teacher available for every 8-10 students. In NIT Jalandhar total of three exams are conducted every semester [ 2 mid-semester (minor exam) + 1 end-semester exam ] there exams are difficult to pass but it totally depends on the student as the questions come fully from the classroom notes.

As the last year started placements also started in the college i.e.5 semesters. total 120+ companies visited last year and a total of approx 80-90% of students placed with an average package of 12 LPA. The highest package was 1.3 CR+ this year. also, all the top tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Flipkart came to the campus every year. different job offers like Software developer, data analyst, marketing, manager post and many more post are offered by companies. After 4 years my plans are to get placed in a top tech giant.

All IITs and NITS provide fee relaxation on the basis of annual family income if it is lower than 1 lakh per annum then full relaxation on institute fees is given to students based on this certain scholarship are also provided scholarships are also provided to students based on merit. there are no campus jobs available.

TECHNI (tech fest), and BHARAT DHWANI (annual fest) are conducted every year in the month of February and October respectively. CENTRAL LIBRARY contains 1-2.5 lakh books, 5 publications of newspaper present. NIT JALANDHAR is located in Punjab, and sports & extra curricular activities are too good available. also sports competitions are conducted by hostels in college for students like volleyball, badminton, chess, and cricket. I also took part in badminton but didn't win but it was fun. there are a total of 11+ clubs present and three social groups are present NSS ( national social society ) NSO ( national sports organisation ) and most important NCC present in NIT JALANDHAR.

In the hostel room, there is a total of 2 beds, 2 wardrobes for 2 students of course, and also a balcony present.in every room. mess food quality is not very good not very bad it's just only okay okay. there are lots of hostels present so there is no problem with it, Students can register for the hostel at the time of reporting at college.
