Remarks

I took admission through JEE-MAINS. I secured a 79386 rank. The admission process was pretty simple you just have to apply for HSTES there are two rounds online and then physical counseling I got my chance in 2nd round. I don't have any reservations but as of my knowledge, you can and should avail those benefits if you have.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have interest in CSE from the beginning. Surely there is the highest no. Of students in CSE I. E. 142 approx. Teachers are well qualified with there master's degrees and the teaching method is more than perfect some teachers are available whenever you need them. Due to covid, my admission was late term exams were in 3 months surely it is difficult when you enjoy your new college life

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 64000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many companies offer opportunities of internships open to everyone but you gotta be active in such cases and take part actively there are hackathons every weekend and students are rewarded with certain and suitable rewards

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for placements after 3rd-year placements are done both on-campus and off-campus but students prefer off-campus more because of certain reasons like selected companies or higher offer students who take things seriously surely gets good packages

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking financially this is one of the finest places for studying even after a very less fee you get many scholarship opportunities you just have to grab them at times. Make sure to have contact with seniors who will help you out when required

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is kind of chill. More and more students are socially talking frankly I was very unsocial before coming to college but now even though I am engaged in social media groups and clubs there are more than enough clubs for participating and extracurricular activities. One of the best infrastructures of the library and auditorium which is Haryana's largest auditorium is super amazing.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Rooms are provided with tables, beds, and chairs and three in-built almirahs you are supposed to be four students in one room I would say hostels are kind of good but meals are as they are even then it is just fine.

Hostel Fee: INR 10800 per year

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Fun college-but stops you from getting a job

I had to take JEE(Mains) examination to get into this college. You have to apply through HSTES official counselling website, the fees is Rs. 500 and the application starting and ending dates vary every year. So it is suggested to keep checking the applicaion dates. Also the admission is taken through university level counselling on their offical website; which takes place after the HSTES counselling. The final round is physical counselling if anyone is available or interested....Read More
