Remarks

Studies are good, Infrastructure is ok. Faculty's partial nature, Food, Hostel, Internship - are the areas that needed a lot of improvement.

Entrance Preview

I have given the VITEEE entrance exam and my rank was 32,000. I opted for this because I could not find any other good college and VIT is one of the best private colleges. The admission process was based on an Online application form and it was easy to process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love Power systems and Electronics in the course curriculum. I don't know why Business subjects are included in it.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't remember the names but very few opportunities are there for only a few students. Every student should be treated equally.

Placement Experience

Yes, placements are provided here. The average package is Rs. 3-4 lac per annum. Wipro, TCS, and many more Companies visited for the campus placement.

College Events

Rivera, Sports day, and many more events are organized on the campus. Yeah, college fests are useful to get management skills.

Tuition fees are Rs. 3-4 lac per year (approx) and It is very expensive.

Hostels are not good. A/C is not available for everyone. Food is a very big reason for disappointment. Everyone should get a chance to have A/C rooms. Food quality and variety should be there.

Alumni/Alumna

Rajive, Raghu, Villi are some of the alumni who helped me a lot in my extracurriculars. All are good.

Exam Structure

Yes, exams held timely and got results on time. The difficulty level in internal exams is Average.

Faculty

No one is my favorite. Most of the faculty is partly because they are from South India.

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
