Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is up to mark but still improvement is needed because there are many unwanted subjects taught. Rest teachers are mostly educated and have good knowledge about their specific domains but there are some exceptions. there are approx 8 teachers allotted to a single class containing 70 students. Rest there are end-semester exams that are very easy to clear compared to class tests.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities for students after the 4th semester. majority of companies do visit and give many jobs offers even some students get multiple Job offers college prepare the students for placement by conducting placement training programs.

Placement Experience

2.5

I have not sat for placement but I think it begins at the end of 3rd year. mostly all the big companies come for placement including amazon Microsoft and all. And all students get placed but some get a very low package the placement of cse is 100 percent. the highest package of this time was 1cr offered by amazon Germany. my aim is to join the Indian army after the completion of the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for cse is approx 14 lacks and for me, it is 10 lakhs. fees here in srm vary from course to course. there is no scholarship given except the one given at the time of admission. Rest you can get paid internship and all to get fees concession.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good and cheerful. there are many fests and parties held in college time by time. There are many singing and dancing clubs and moreover, there are many coding groups that make the coding culture good. There are many fests like aaruush, milan , josh, and mega events held from time to time. coming to sports activities there are very good sports facilities and the college has given many national players to the country.

Admission

Admission to srm is done through srmjee exam which is a national-level entrance exam. I secured a rank of 10000 for which I got admission in ece branch. rest one can expect cse under 5k rank. application fee for the entrance test is 1100. The exam was pretty good and conducted in a good way and there is no further improvement required.

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because srm is much better compared to it.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
