Course Curriculum Overview

I choose cse core bcoz I was interested in the software department. The faculty-student ratio is quite good in vit. It is around 1:25. The faculties in vit are great and highly experienced. The term exams are kind of easy and questions are asked from what is taught in class. Passing is not difficult if you study well.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Almost all the top companies like Microsoft, google, amazon, Flipkart and many others provide internship opportunities as well as PPOs. After the 6th sem, the college provides you with a lot of companies for internships. And it is counted for academic credits.

Placement Experience

For BTech students after the 6th semester, they are eligible for placements. More than 700 companies visit vit campus in a year. and no of offers given to students is quite a large number. The highest package in 2023 was 1.02 lakhs per annum given by motor. Avg package that students get is around 8 to 9 lpa. My plan is to get a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The avg cost to study would be around 20 lacs. financial assistance is given to some candidates based on their annual incomes. The cost to study is similar to other colleges. The jobs which the campus provides are good with decent packages.

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest conducted is riviera is conducted in the month of February. Top artists visit the campus for riviera. The annual tech fest is conducted in gravitas in the month of October. All the tech-related events are conducted in this fest. The library present in vit is very good. The collection of books is quite good. Classrooms are well equipped with good benches and desks. All the classrooms have projectors and smart boards. The sports and extracurricular activities are very good in vit. Social groups include vitrendz, vitspotplus .

Hostel Facilities

The rooms in vit have all the basic amenities which are required by a student. Students have a free wifi facility, mechanised laundry services, a gym, 24-hour power backup, study halls and many others. The mess here is very good and provides good food. Registration of the mess and hostel is done online mode only. You are allowed to stay as a day boarder only if your house is in less than a 60km radius.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

We had an exam named viteee. The exam was on the syllabus of the 11th and 12th standards of the pure science stream. After the result was declared, counselling was conducted to allot seats based on rank. Eligibility for the course is more than 60% in the 12th PCM stream. All the details related to admission can be found on vit official website. There is no reservation quota. The admision process was smooth

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
