Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is amazing. It has a lot of future scopes but some professors aren't that great. They have a lot of knowledge and their teaching knowledge is good. Student faculty ratio is around 1:30

Internships Opportunities

The internships in cse have a stipend of around 1lac+ per month and the core branches have a stipend of 50k per month. The companies look for projects and internships in the resume to filter the students. So these are very important for good placements

Placement Experience

The college offers one of the best placements in the country with the best placements being in the cse branch. Almost all students sitting in placements get placed. My plans after college are to run my own manufacturing company

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is very and there are a lot of reservations for underprivileged students. Many students have taken advantage of these schemes and the job given to them are amazing. I did not get any scholarship because I am a general candidate

Campus Life

The annual fest of nit trichy is festember. Its tech fest is Pragyan. Nittfest is the inter-departmental college fest. Aaveg is the inter-hostel fest for the first years of the college. There are so many clubs related to every field and students can start their own clubs

Hostel Facilities

The room consists of a steel table, chair, bed, and cupboard. It is a double sharing room. There are messes of north Indian, south Indian, Kerala, and Andhra mess. The mess registration happens once a month and the hostel is very close to the hostels

Admission

The exam I took was JEE Mains 2021. The application was available on the official website of JEE mains. The application fee varies every year based on the reservation you have. The website user interface isn't good. Also, it has many issues like the payment doesn't getting updated

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
