Hangout with friends and you can chill in the grounds.
Aura at Amul, Nescafe and Canteen is so enchanting and mesmerizing.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and poor and lack of proper amenities in clasroom.
Size of campus is very small and hence there is no enjoyment in hanging out.
Teaching methods of faculties is very old and poor.

Course Curriculum Overview

I got this course on the basis of my percentile and all India rank in JEE Mains Examination. The faculty-student ration is very low as of now. New faculties needed to be hired. All the existing faculties are highly qualified. Most of the faculties are PhD. But a lot of faculties don't teach the students with a high level of enthusiasm. Examinations are quite easy to pass.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. 17 companies till now have made around 450 offers in total. The highest package offered is 10 lakhs per annum now and the average package is 4.5 lacs per annum. 60-70% of students are getting placed. I am placed so I am looking for a higher offer and continue with the job for some time after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

There has been no hike in the fees in the last 4 years. The cost to study is quite unreasonable because the infrastructure is very poor. Scholarships available are post-metric, Medhavi, TFW, SC/ST. Currently, I am placed in LTI on a package of 4 lacs CTC on campus.

Campus Life

There is no annual fest or tech fest associated with the college. Some cultural events and Technical events are conducted by the clubs present in the college. All the course-related books are available for issues in the library. Whiteboards in all the classrooms and projectors along with whiteboard in seminar halls. Sports competitions are being held in the college. Digital Learning Group, Dance club, Music Club, Science Club, Raashtray etc.

Admission

One needs to give the JEE Mains Entrance examination to take admission to any engineering course at MITS Gwalior. One needs to qualify JEE Mains examination and score a minimum of 70% in class twelfth with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The remaining seats are also filled by college-level counselling. One can find the application form on MPE-DTE Counselling. reservations available are Tuition fee waiver, SC/ST, OBS, and Army. Modes of payment other than cash, cheques and demand draft should also be made available.

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

Likes

Faculties are full supportive (except some faculty)
Goverment Hostels are Good becaues of campus area
Oldest College of all over india and first E&TC branch opened in JEC

Dislikes

Zero college life beacuse everyone not get govt. Hostel
Campus distributed because of two way highway
No internship and entrepreneurship opportunity are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is totally outdated syllabus that was not relevant for current or future technologies. No fully functional labs, outdated machines and some machines are not working. There is no regular lab class and if have then you will write the practical file intesd of learning about machines.

I like the faculty of Gyan ganga college of Technology. They are very good.
I like the campus of college and it is very clean comparing to other institutes.
I like the placement given by our college and also rate of placement.

There is nothing about my college which I disliked
i like everything about my college and it is very good

from 7th semester studentd are eligible for placement in companies like google microsoft cisco etc. the highest package is 51 lpa and average package is 3.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placed 70%. i plan to get a high package after comnpleting my degree

A Balanced and Value?for?Money Engineering Experience at GGCT

Likes

Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics , exam, and projects. Teaching focuses on fundamentals and practical understanding
The campus has good classrooms , labs , library, and sports facilities .The environments is friendly and suitable for learning.
The placement cell is active and provides training for aptitudes, and interviews. The curriculum is relevant and helps builds a strong technical base.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and live projects opportunities can be improved .
More companies can be invited for placements
i don't thing there's anything i don't like now

1. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. 2. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and other IT/ services firms visit the campus regularly and make multiple offers. 3. The average package ranges between ?4-?5 LPA, while the highest package goes up to ?12 to18 LPA for top performers.

Therefore I do this course and his placement in our city this is also quite enough to chose this course and mainly I didn't score good marks in jee to get other branches this is also one of region.

Likes

The clubs in the college are good. There are specific club for coding , for robotics, for music and dance.
The placement in the college is also good . If you give some efforts then you will get a good placement.
The curriculum and syllabus of the college is up-to-date and industry oriented.

Dislikes

The college did not have its own campus, so currently it regulates from inside MANIT.
The girls to boys ratio is very poor. In my batch there are only 18 girls among 650 students.
The fees of the college is also very high

Placement Experience:

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Best IIIT in terms of campus life as it has over 150 acres of lush green campus with almost every amenities.
College has been improving its recent cultural status and activities by organizing events like Infotsav- Annual Tech fest. The girls to boys ratio is around 1:5 which is decent.
all faculties are phD holders and highly qualified in their respective domain.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is little bit on a harder side especially grading schemes. Some profs may deliberately give low grades.
not that great alumini network despite being the oldest iiit
semester lasts for only 4 months which may prevent many club events and exploration

Placement Experience:

For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem. For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem. In 2025, All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected). Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa. 214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

I really like cleanliness in washroom and also in the college. I really like trees in college.
Faculty was really good and my subject teacher was teaching in a right way.
In this college the boys and girls in the ratio of 3:1.

Dislikes

Uniform is not allow in this college. I have no many clothes to wear day by day.
I don't like college timing. In winter season timing was not good.
Our campus is very small. And college fest is very less in this college.

Placement Experience:

In 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited in this college like Wipro, Cisco, infosys, etc. Highest package in this college is 20 lakhs. Average package is 5 lakhs My plans after getting the degree is getting good job.

No strict policy for maintaining 75% attendance criteria but you should maintain at least of 60%
No dress code you can wear casual dresses to in the class but you will have to wear formals only in

Dislikes

The class length is very high and there are 80 students In a class in the class size is small and congested
The infrastructure is very bad as it won't providing basic necessity

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college are decent as the average package is of 6.5 LP which is good as compared to the fees you are paying almost 90% of a students gets placedd from here the companies including TCS and Wipro come here

Journey to success with MITS Gwalior

I give JEE Mains exam. After than I sat for MP DTE councilling where I filled choices for SGSTIS Indore ,DAVV Indore ,MITS Gwalior, JEC jabalpur. In SGSTIS and DAVV I can only go with lowest branch so I op MITS Gwalior where I get seat in Information technology specialization in Internet of Things IoT. Yes I prefer students to come this college, as its core branches are very good in studies as well as placement wise. I choose this college because it has strong reputation since 1947 and good placement with affordable fee compared to other option I applied for. I also considered a few private colleges but preferred this one as the admission is true J based counseling with clear eligibility and cut off rank. I choose MITS because of its strong academic reputation, a nice infrastructure, and affordable to me if compared to fee structure to private colleges. I has also applied to other institutes but can make it to the entrace exam or felt they were too expensive.
