Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to prepare for upsc and this course is very beneficial in it. The faculty ratio is 1: 20 means on average 1 teacher on 20 students. All faculties are well qualified as per UGC Guidelines, but the quality of their teaching is average. The teaching methods are also very traditional and old and they need to be updated with new technology. There is a semester system so the term exam is held after every 6 months. The exam is of moderate level and it's easy to pass them.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a private university, it's the cost is very affordable compared to other private universities in the same city or area. The university hikes fees every year for a few courses but it doesn't affect the previous year's students, as the fees remain the same which was told during the time of admission. The university of merit base scholarships to meritorious students. Like 20 to 30 per cent of total fees. And other scholarships are also like for a single girl children and sports students. As I was in a non-technical course, I didn't get any Job or stipend on campus.
Campus Life
Annually Apex University conducts a fest called technoaagaz. In which different universities take part in different competitions and sports. It is usually held in the month of February. The library is very small and very rarely you will find books related to your courses. The classrooms are very big and spacious with proper lighting and ventilation. The university is very behind in extracurricular activities, they rarely conduct such activities. There are many groups for different activities like personality development, arts, social media etc. But these groups are only a showpiece, they never conduct any activity of their concern.
Admission
The eligibility for BA is that one must pass 12th with a minimum of 50 percent. Admission forms are available on University's website, apexjpr in or there sides like collegedunia, Shiksha etc. There are many kinds of reservations available which they only give after a personal visit to the campus by an individual. The university process of admission is very smooth although there is need to make it more online and paperless.
