Dislikes
- Some faculty really behave like they dont care.I missed my CT1 exam for a subject because i was suffering from chicken pox.I asked for a retest and i was asked to get the sign from Hod,dean, faculty advisor and many more
- Some teachers just come to conplete the syllabus
- 75% compulsory attendance.Thats hard when you are involved with many clubs and activities
Course Curriculum Overview
There are three exams CT1, CT2, and CT3 which contribute 60 marks for internals and 40 marks are contributed from the university exam which is converted from 75. As the higher marks are converted to lower marks and there are 4 exams in total; the chances of securing high marks are easy. CGPA over 8 is pretty easy to achieve.
Internships Opportunities
I am just in the first year so I don't know much about that. My seniors were applying for an internship with 40000 stipend which is nice. Some other internships are also provided by the college with pretty good skills outcome. Some self-paid internships are also provided.
Placement Experience
College placements are given. Not extreme packages but pretty decent. One sister from Nepal just got a package of 15 lakhs INR. Also if you want placement, you can get it for around 6 lakhs minimum. If you work hard I heard one senior got 1.1 crores for Amazon. So, it's pretty decent for a computer science background. For others streams, it's not much.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a student from Nepal and I have been selected for the fully funded scholarship by the education council through the Indian embassy. My whole tuition and hostel fees are covered and I get a stipend of 71000 INR annually among which 60000 has to be paid as mess fees and the rest is my pocket money.
Campus Life
I even don't know the exact number of clubs here on campus. What I can just say is there are a lot of clubs and if any new ideas come to your head, go to the dean and form your own club. It's pretty cool. The library is pretty big and different journals and books are available here.
Hostel Facilities
It's the best part of my college. Maybe I don't know about other hostels much but the international hostel in which I live is the best. Warden buys us chicken and gives us a party. Seniors are so helpful. The hostel building is like apartment 2bhk. We cook in our flat. It's clean. Study hall, Gym, newspapers, healthy and tasty food.
Admission
I have joined through the education council by the Indian embassy. Everything in the admission process was quite easy and our international relations office helped us very much in the admission process.
