Remarks

The college is overall nice, I appreciate the infrastructure and other good qualities of the college. Since every thing has its own cons, so the college is also having cons and in my opinion, the management is not focussing on the students' welfare. Since the benefits which are provided by the college to each and every student are not given. For ex. Railway Concession ticket is given to students but every time, students have to face the problem since the staff on duty tell that the concession form has been finished. These are some of the issues which could be corrected so that the students are given good care.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE Mains Exam and qualified for the counselling rounds. My rank was 60833. My score was 120 marks out of 360 and my 12th %age was 93%. I opted this college as it was suitable for me according to my rank and my financial status.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is set by the panel of well-qualified faculty and it is set in such a way that the course focuses on the entire development of the students so that students can opt for research areas or they can join any company. The course structure is such that they can join any MNCs through the interview.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide the internship. The college only issues the NOC to the students and allow them to take an Internship from any company or industry. The college does not provide such internship in the college premises.

Placement Experience

4

The placement cell of the college is focusing on the development and placement of the students. Last year about 150 companies visited the institute and approx 70% students were placed. The list of companies can be seen from the website but still, I am listing some of the recruiters. GE, Godrej, Honda, Maruti, Samsung Electronics, TCS, Smartprix, L&T Infotech and much more are in the list The salary ranges from 3.1lakh per annum to 15 lakh per annum.

College Events

3.5

There are various events celebrated on the college campus, some of which are listed below: 1) Madhuram- A cultural fest 2) Metamorphosis- A technical fest 3) Prayaas- A cultural fest 4) Qualli program Apart from these events, there is a various society which celebrates various events such as Robotics fest by SRAS, Science Week by Science Club, Happy Week by Happy Club, Hindi Sabha by Hindi Society.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is very flexible on the campus. Since the college is headed by the central government so we are relaxed when it comes to the fees. The semester fees are Rs. 26000 and Rs 3000/month for the mess. The fees are not expensive but still many students took the loan since students come from poor background.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the college did not provide any such scholarships or the loan facilities to the students. The students have to manage of their own.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is awesome here. Since the college is in the lap of nature and it is surrounded by trees all around. The gender ratio is 5:1. The students enjoy the campus as they are allowed to do late night work in workshops. Students from around the country are living on this campus, so the diversity of students are seen and brotherhood is seen every where. Students are allowed to make robots in their rooms. They are allowed to do debate and play Counter Strike game in the rooms.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are 13 hostels in the campus. 10 for boys and 3 for girls. The students of the 1st,2nd and 3rd year have to share the room with 3 students but the students of 4th year and the PG students are accommodated in single rooms. The room is well furnished with tiles and cupboard. We are provided a better place to live and grow.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, The Alumni network of the college is awesome, every year the alumni meet took place and students took active participation. The alumni also give us advice about our career options and much more.

Exam Structure

The exams of the college are not that tough but still, we have to study hard to get good grades. The 2 minors exams are held within a duration of every1.5 months. After the minor exam, 1 quiz is also there and finally, at an end of the semester, we have to give sessional exam which is called as MINOR in the campus.

Admission

I got admitted to the institute by the CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board)-2014. The seat was allotted to me in the spot round and then I joined the college. The admission to this college is done by CSAB now JoSAA, but I admitted it through CSAB. The allotment letter is furnished by the competent authority and then the students are admitted in the course.

Faculty

3.5

In my department there are 20 teachers in which 4 are professors, 10 are associate professors and rest are assistant professors. They are well qualified as mostly the faculty holds the Ph.D. degree. Those who do not have Ph.D. degree they have M.Tech from reputed colleges such as IIT's.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
