My review on NITJ

I chose civil because I wanted to go into core branches so selected civil. The professors are really good and well-qualified. Most of them have graduated and done Ph.D. &mtech from iits. There are two minor exams each of 20 marks and one end term including 50 marks. If you start studying even seven days before minors u can pass easily. Some subjects are easy but some require really good efforts to score better. There are 3 lab subjects in the 1st to 4th sem.

many companies visit the college. Most of them I could remember now are Amazon, Samsung, coca cola, etc. But most companies come for the IT section. But Coca-Cola comes to campus for industrial engineering and recruits interns about 30+ students each year. If you belong to any other branch like mechanical or civil then few companies provide internships. Also, you could get local industries for internships in Jalandhar Or nearby. So, it's not tough to get an intern at NIT Jalandhar.

Students onwards 6ty sem become eligible for placement. Companies like Microsoft, reliance,acc, Google, Flipkart, Amazon, etc come. The highest package was 1,2 cr this year. Cse student's placement rate is approx 100% but less for core branches.

You can get full remission on tuition fees if your family income is less than 1 lakh. There's also remission on whose family income is between 1-5lakh. You can also avail of a scholarship which is updated from time to time on the scholarship section on the college site. If you want to study through loans then the college has banks that give students to study through loans.

Fest-Major ones are techniti(technical fest) ,Utkansh (cultural fest) also festivals like Lohri, janmashtami,kite festival, etc celebrated here. This year techniti was organized in Feb month. First day Italian Dj Olly esse came and on the third day Punjabi singer and actor Ninja came. library-library has a good no.of books but it lacks in quantity. But novels are not enough there . Current Library will be replaced by a new one in some months. You can study in the library till 9:30 and can get issue book till 5:30.Overall my experience is good. classroom-it is well equipped with modern equipment like smart boards along with two blackboards, a projector, fully ac classroom with the proper seating arrangement. sports-U can enjoy cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, carrom, and chess here. sports facilities are good here. The ground is spacious and of standard dimensions. Clubs-There are many clubs like prayers for teaching students who can't afford to study Other clubs are music, robotics,ldc,tca,tta.

You can get admission through josaa or csab by appearing in jee mains exam. Try to get the 99 percentile for CSE and u can get core branches in the 95 percentile depending on your home state quota and admission process is easy, it's all an online procedure.
