Wonderful Experience

Everything has some positives and negatives. The positives of Jamia are very high then some of the negatives and most of the negatives actually don't matter practically. The fee structure and quality education are the most important positives of the University.

The entrance examination for M.Tech. Jamia Millia is one of the tops and reputed institutions in India. Its near to my place so I preferred Jamia. The admission process is direct interview through gate score for M.Tech.

The curriculum is very good. It is according to the latest technologies and current skill requirements of the industries. The curriculum delivery is always on time and very systematic. The topics of the subjects are interrelated for giving a better understanding of a subject to a student.

The college didn't provide but as per latest directions of the AICTE/UGC, they will be providing internship to the final year students from this year. The college supports the students in their search for an internship as well as give relaxation in marks/attendance/credits so that students can compete for the internship successfully.

Placements and job opportunities are very good. Very reputed companies visit the college for campus placements and good packages are offered to selected candidates. College also helps the students in managing the lecture and project attendance if any student wants to join during the end of the last semester.

IEEE Conference is held very often. Freshers and farewell parties are held to encourage bonding and togetherness between students and also to create an atmosphere of student and teacher interaction. Teachers day functions are also held in a very decent manner.

The fee structure is very favorable for students as the University is a government fund central university. Also, there are many scholarship opportunities for bright but financially weaker students. It's best to study for students having low family income.

There are many opportunities for the loans/scholarships but I didn't available any because either I didn't need some or I was not eligible for some.

The campus life is very good, the atmosphere is disciplined as well as cool. there is no discrimination on the basis of sex, caste religion etc. People respect each other there is an atmosphere of mutual understanding between the students, staff and faculties.

Hostel facilities are very good and charges are very low. The hostel and mess atmosphere is very disciplined and there is zero tolerance for ragging and hooliganism in the University campus including hostels. The negative point is that hostel seats/accommodation are less and selection is totally on first come first serve basis.

Alumni network is not that good as it's is expected but it's not zero also. There are some occasions reserved for alumni interactions.

Schedules are hectic as curriculum is semester based as weekend is off so it gives time to relax also. College keeps the students busy so that they can learn time management, value hard work and also gain more and more knowledge. Regular conferences, seminars also boost the personality of the students.

Form and prospectus are available online Jamia website. All the notifications regarding admission are updated on the Jamia website from time to time. The process is very fair and systematic. Information is always updated much in advance to avoid any kind of problem on later stage. The admission process is direct interview through gate score for M.Tech.

The faculty is highly qualified and very experienced. They have a vast knowledge of their subject and are very helpful also. As a teacher, they understand the issues of the students and help the students in finding the solution of the personal and academic problems.
