Likes

Many cultural and tech fest all around the year from time to time..
Faculties had very experienced and expert faculty.

Dislikes

Classes building is far from the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

Initially before admission to the college, I had a great interest in the mechanical automobile sector, and my interest in mechanics led me to choose this branch. Faculty to student ratio is 1:14. PhD in the corresponding teaching field. The exam was according to the syllabus and was not very easy to pass.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year there is a hike in fees for courses by around 10 percent depending on the year of study. There are many scholarships which could be availed eg. Nsp scholarship, student aid fund scholarship, recall scholarship.

Campus Life

Festember(Annual fest), pragyan(tech fest). Almost all popular sports are played on campus at their respective court/ground. The classroom has basic facilities but is not air-conditioned. Wifi not good.

Admission

Eligibility is Math stream in 12th standard with a percentage greater than 75. Admission through Jee mains exam. One improvement could be in the admission process is online verification rather than visiting all different colleges for counselling.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
