Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I wanted to serve my nation by doing government jobs and for that purpose I opted for a core branch. Although placement also happens in this branch so students have their choices. Every branch has a capacity of around 120 students. Some faculties are so good that you'll develop an interest in that subject but some are not that supportive so it's a mixture of both.
Placement Experience
For the core branch, it's a little difficult to figure out which company you should choose and which one will be better for you as both it as well as core companies are there for recruitment. So, if you're planning for a sudden placement after your college then please choose CSE, IT, ECE But if you want higher studies, a job in PSUs or another government job then please prepare for GATE from your very first year.
Fees and Financial Aid
During admission, it's around 80k but after that, it's between 40-50k per semester. Roughly 4 lakhs are spent during 4 years. There are several scholarships for students who belong to a family with low wages.
Campus Life
To be honest, I didn't get a chance to enjoy campus life due to COVID. 2 years of my college get wasted because of this. But in the third year, I got a chance and yes, the fest happens every year after a long struggle of getting permission to organise it. But students somehow manage to get a fest per year so yes campus life is developing after the pandemic period.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Life is good. Food is quite good but it's kinda unbearable somedays, like other mess obviously. But generally they provide us food that can be eaten and sometimes it's tasty too. Pro tip: Just rush to the mess as soon as the call Bell rangs.... First come better serve. You'll get options that which paneer ka katori you should choose .
Admission
Eligibility is you should have a good score according to the cutoff of that particular year. And should have scored 60+ Percentage in the 12th boards. From jee mains and wbjee exams score you can easily get admission through the counselling process.
