What Students Say

Likes

Fests , placements , campus , java (food stall) , circulllum

Dislikes

Timings of the college . It is like 8-5 like a kindergarten

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The curriculum is very good. But the faculty who teaches you the classes are not that good because SRM selects the people who have PhDs. They will not consider their knowledge. A facility will teach 60 - 65 students at a time. Classes were regular and they will cover maximum every topic regarding the subject.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about the current fee structure. But in my time it. About the placements, Almost everyone gets placed on an Avg 6 lacks per year 3.5 lakh a year for computer-based groups. If you get below 100 ranks you will get 100% free seats.

Campus Life

4.5

The fests are awesome in SRM. Especially the fest called Milan it amazes me. Many celebrities, DJ nights, food exhibitions, etc. And tech fests like Aarush which is handled by students. We can learn a lot of things from that. About sports almost every 2 months a tournament will be conducted.

Admission

Eligibility: minimum 60 % in PCM. You can apply for SRMJEE on SRM University's official page. In the admission process if you miss even a single question ur rank will differ a lot. A couple of wrong answers in SRMJEE will push your rank to 1000-2000.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
