Course Curriculum Overview

4

I got a seat in ECE actually I applied for CSE but I did not get and I never tried for another round of counselling I think if I tried I would have got the seat in CSE coming to the course we are 60 in strength and the college timings are morning 9 am to 5 pm and the curriculum is good with 8 semesters with a project in final year and the faculty are all professors who done their PhD in iits etc. the teaching method id face to face interaction as the strength is less it is very easy to connect with all the students the semester exams will be at the end of the semester with mid-semester exams in between we will be having two mid exams which will be averaged and considered as it is the best university in the state it is not that easy to pass and not hard too.

Placement Experience

3.5

We are eligible for placements from 4th year and can apply for jobs according to the management if we get one placement we cannot apply for more companies until it is your dream company we have many companies that reach out to the campus every year with the highest package that is received by our campus is 25lpa and mostly based on software profiles an average placement percentage is 70% my plans I am waiting for my job letter from the company

Fees and Financial Aid

So as the Eamcet policy is the people who get a rank under 10000 can be considered as convener seat and the fee will be reimbursed for the eligible people those who can claim to pass the scholarship will get all the fees back and the academic fee is 18000/year and mess bill around 2500/month this fee will be claimed through a scholarship for those whose parents are non-government employees the fee will be changed every 2 years for the new batch and will be continued with the same fee for rest of the four years we can also claim MHRD scholarship based on our inter marks coming to placements we have an average placement percentage of 70% but this year as the companies are in recession the placements are decreased I got selected for wipro turbo but I did not receive any offer letter till now.

Campus Life

3.5

We will have a yearly technical fest for every department which should be managed on our own by bringing some sponsors and making money on our own and conduct the fest it is conducted at the end of the april or start of May .coming to books we will be having a library named jubilee library for engineering students and other than that we will be having our own department based library that has many sources to explore and recently we are also provided with e-libraries. we will be having an annual sports competition between the departments and also for the faculty named Sportsman. we also have some clubs like the music club, IEEE and all for growth

Hostel Facilities

3.5

We are having the hostel but the building is very old and the facilities are also not soo good but ok with it coming to the mess the food is also average the hostel admission is to be taken by paying a money of 10000 that includes a caution deposit and all as we are accommodated with 2 people in each room I feel it is good as it is a government college and also recently they are planning to build new hostels

Admission

I have completed my intermediate we will be having a goverrnment entrance test for engineering colleges on the stste named TSEAMCET that can be applied through the online government website and can be attempted by the students who pass the intermediate by paying 800Rs/- for engineering. the exam is conducted in my first week and got a rank of 3519. so, as I was a muslim minority BCE student i can claim the reservation in the seats so i acquired the seat in the college

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
